Healthcare facilities face the challenge of staffing their organization with personnel that are the right fit skill and educational level or even the right organizational fit. One of the roles of human resources is to organize and conduct the selection of appropriate candidates for such positions based on the healthcare organizations need (Russell, 2017). Additionally human resources advise the healthcare management on employee pay and benefits for both recruits and existing employees (Russell, 2017). Human resources ensures that newly-hired personnel acquires the necessary labor certificates from the U.S. Department of Labor, work visas from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and required licenses or certificates required by the positions job description (Russell, 2017). This is a key element in the partnership with human resources and healthcare management to streamline to aid in state and accreditation surveys to ensure all employees in the organizations have the required credentialing documentation to show they are adequate to perform their job duties.
