Purpose Of Course

This courses’ goal is to provide clinicians with knowledge on human trafficking and give specific tools that they may use to identify and assist victims in the clinical setting.

Learning Objectives

  5. Define trauma-informed care

  8. Describe three reasons why a victim does not leave the situation if given the opportunity
  9. List three interview questions that can be used to elicit information in a non-threatening way
  10.  List three ways a healthcare provider can optimize an interview with a suspected trafficking victim.
